Lynn Alexander: A Trusted Voice in Caregiving

The Strategic Visionary

Lynn Alexander is a nationally recognized leader in aging, with more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of public policy, senior living, and caregiver advocacy.

As a former Michigan Cabinet Official and Chief Marketing Officer for one of the country’s largest senior living organizations, Lynn has shaped the industry at the highest levels.

Known as a transformational leader, she was among the first in the U.S. to champion revolutionary care models such as PACE, The Green House Project, and The Eden Alternative – innovations that continue to improve quality of life for seniors decades later.

The Trusted Voice

Lynn’s expertise is sought by governors and providers alike. An appointee of two Michigan Governors, a Secretary of State, and an Attorney General, she has dedicated her career to turning data into dignity.

As a founding board member and former Vice Chair of the Michigan Health Endowment Fund, she played a pivotal role in directing resources toward community health innovations that will impact families for generations.

Like many families, Lynn’s caregiving journey began at home.

The Personal Heart

Beyond the boardroom, Lynn’s story is deeply personal. Raised in a caregiver household, she spent 20 years in professional caregiving before becoming the primary caregiver for her own parents.

She has lived the “Caregiver Tsunami” from both sides – as the official creating the policy and the daughter in the hospital hallway. This dual perspective allows her to inspire, inform, and entertain audiences with a message of strength, humor, and humility.
